Origin Story descriptions. ~choosing your story!~

In War, Victory. In Peace, Vigilance. In Death, Sacrifice

~Dalish Elf~
The Dalish Elf is the only origin story that has the taint in the beginning. It starts with you and a childhood friend hunting in the woods and finding some shems (humans) running. The tell you about a cave with treasure and you and Tamlen investigate.
You find corpses and big bugs and a creature to fight, along with a strange mirror. Tamlen, for some stupid reason, decides "Hey, I'm going to mess with the mirror even though you say it's a bad ideal ^w^."
The Darkspawn taint gets inside of you and Tamlen goes missing. This is what playing with mirrors when you're not suppose to does! Duncan gets you back to the dalish camp and ,after returning to search for Tamlen with Merrill, you'll leave for Ostagar.

~City Elf~
This story is SAD! You've lived in a set way your entire elven life. It's now your wedding day, an arranged marriage I might add. You're ok with it though. However, during the wedding (I was a female sooo that'll explain certain comments) a man will crash your wedding and kidnap you and other elven females. You break out and find your fiance. He's been injured..and is dying. He dies (TT^TT sadly) and when you loot his corpse you can your wedding ring that he made for you. It doesn't mean you're married, it's just for you to have. BioWare was evil and played with female emotions here! You can choose to keep the ring the entire game, or sell it. My city elf usually keeps and wears it the entire game. You get to the Human that crashed the wedding and he's really hurt your best friend. Time to slaughter a -beep-! Duncan saves your butt and transcripts you into the Wardens to avoid punishment by the human law.

~Human Noble~
My human noble was a big daddy's girl and loved her big brother. However that changed when your families fake allie turns on you and attack your family in the dead of night. Her brother had furtonately left earlier and was not there but his wife and child were slain. You are the only person that gets out alive. Duncan tells you he wants you to be a Grey Warden , with terrible timing, and you leave.

~Dwarf noble~
this story SUCKS! You're brother tells you that your older brother wants to kill you for the throne, and than he frames you for big brothers murder!  SUCKS! It's also the longest origin story in my point of view. You're banished and stripped of your title and are forced into the deep roads. You find Duncan and he takes you into the Grey Warden's.

~Dwarf Comoner~
A castless nobody scraping by with a drunk mother, an older sister, and you have to work for a complete buttmunch just to live. Talk about a Hard-Knock Life (Annie refrence). You end up getting yourself in hot water and Duncan saves you from being arrested or killed or something..

I don't like being a dwarf so I only played through the dwarfen origins to get the trophies. -.- nothing personal I just don't like them..

~Magi Origin~
Elven or Human it's the same. I recammend being Human for the fact that the human is an Amell. Sound familar? Think Dragon Age 2. Amell is your mothers maiden name. If you import that file Cullen has more interesting reactions. You go into the Fade, complete your Harrowing, and woot you're now a mage!
However your friend tells you he needs your help. You can't deny him, and have to help him break free of the Circle and try to run away with his girl. I don't like this origin story for the Fade, and Jowan practically betrays you. However betting the game and staying a Grey Warden with your intrest is great.

Take your pick on origin story, or play all for the trophies!!!
